from TORONTO airport to Kingston
  • Plane: Daily flights between Toronto and Kingston via Air Canada, on small planes. Need to go through customs in Toronto, and may need to change terminals; allow plenty of time.  Taxi from airport in Kingston to Queen's U. approximately $15.
  • Train:  Take the express bus from the airport to the Royal York Hotel (allow 2 hours), then walk across the street to main train terminal, Union Station.  Train service on Via Rail, approximately 3 hour ride to Kingston.  Taxi from train station to Queen's U. approximately $15.
  • Bus:  Direct coach bus service between Toronto airport and Queen's University in Kingston (4 hour trip) through Coach Canada (Trentway-Wagar). Buses leave airport Terminal 1 (Post P6) and Terminal 3 (Post C8); arrive on Queen's campus at the John Deutch Centre.   • Car:  Set GPS address at 421 Union Street, Kingston Ontario (toll free: 866-455-2655)  Approximately 2.5 hour drive. Or, follow directions from airport to Highway 401 East.  When in Kingston, take 'Sir John A. MacDonald' exit, follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd to Union Street, turn left.  Google Map 421 Union Street.

from MONTREAL airport to Kingston
  • Train:  There is a shuttle service from Dorval airport to Dorval train station, ~1.5 km away. Allow about 1.5 hour for the connection.  Approximately 3 hour ride to Kingston on Via Rail.  Taxi from train station to Queen's U. approximately $15.Car:  Set GPS address at 421 Union Street, Kingston Ontario (toll free: 866-455-2655)  Approximately 2.5 hour drive. Or, take either Highway 20 or Highway 40 going west. Then follow Highway 401 West.  Take 'Sir John A. MacDonald' exit, follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd to Union Street, turn left.  Google Map 421 Union Street.

from OTTAWA airport to Kingston
  • Train:   Approximately 2 hour ride to Kingston on Via Rail.  Taxi from train station to The Donald Gordon Conference Centre. approximately $15.
  • Car:  Set GPS address at 421 Union Street, Kingston Ontario (toll free: 866-455-2655)  Approximately 2 hour drive. Take Highway 416 to the junction with Highway 401 (near Prescott). Then follow Highway 401 West.  Take 'Sir John A. MacDonald' exit, follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd to Union Street, turn left.  Google Map 421 Union Street.

from the UNITED STATES to Kingston
  • Car:   The closest border crossing to Kingston is the Thousand Island Bridge at Alexandria Bay (USA) near Watertown, NY. Take the I‐81 north to the border crossing and then follow Highway 401 West toward Kingston.  Take 'Sir John A. MacDonald' exit, follow Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd to Union Street, turn left. Google Map 421 Union Street.  Or, set GPS address to 421 Union Street, Kingston Ontario.  Approximately 2 hours drive from Syracuse.
